The Big CVFC 50/50 is returning for 2026, and tickets are now available. To purchase a ticket, contact any firefighter or visit the Firehouse on Wednesdays between 7 and 9 PM or Sundays from 9 to 11 AM. Tickets will also be sold at select local stores in the near future. The first engine owned by CVFC was built by the charter members by hand and featured a chemical tank. This tank used a combination of baking soda and a strong acid to create pressure, which moved water from the tank through a hose.
